Experts forecast this year 15-20 percent growth in global container turnover at seaports.
The world"s container turnover of seaports in 2010 may gain at least 15-20% compared to numbers in 2009, the growth trend still unsustainable though, Dmitry Baranov, leading expert of Finam Management LLC said in his interview with "PortNews? IAA. At the same time, he said, the slow recovery of the container market is still quite possible."An important issue here is political factor, especially the situation with Somali pirates and emergence of alternative routes for the delivery of commodities", Mr. Baranov was quoted as saying.
