Accident in Ahirkapi

20,252 GRT bulk carrier named FRIGIA in Ahirkapi crashed into two carries by draging the anchor named CAPE and OREL which were lying at anchor because of adverse weather conditions.

Malta flagged bulk carrier with 28 crew crashed into other carries in Ahirkapi

20,252 GRT bulk carrier named FRIGIA in Ahirkapi crashed into two carries by draging the anchor named CAPE and OREL which were lying at anchor because of adverse weather conditions.

The day before around 11:51 pm, Malta flagged bulk carrier with 28 crew named FRIGIA crashed into Ukraine flagged carrier named OREL-6 after crashing into 2571 GRT Turkish flagged carrier named CAPE by draging the anchor because of adverse weather conditions.

There was no environmental pollution as the result of maritime accident which was the crashing of Malta flagged bulk carrier named FRIGIA to the other carriers. Istanbul Port Authority opened an investigaion for the case.
