Aker yards signed contract for two cruise ships for MSC
Aker Yards and MSC Cruises have signed a contract for building two cruise ships of Musica-class.
The vessels will be built at Aker Yards, Saint-Nazaire and delivered in February 2011 and February 2012 respectively.
The contract is still subject to financing. Aker Yards ASA is an international shipbuilding group focusing on sophisticated vessels.
The group has a strong position both in terms of innovation, product range, technology, experience and capacity. The product range includes cruise vessels & ferries, merchant vessels and offshore & specialized vessels.
