Attorney of Sanchi oil tanker crew accused Iran of plagiarizing documents
Herischi law firm which represents the families of ten crew members of Sanchi oil tanker in the federal court lawsuit against three individuals and entities tied to the Islamic Republic of Iran, accused Islamic Republic officials of plagiarizing

Herischi law firm which represents the families of ten crew members of Sanchi oil tanker in the federal court lawsuit against three individuals and entities tied to the Islamic Republic of Iran, accused Islamic Republic officials of plagiarizing the documents related to the Sanchi oil tanker collision.

Herischi law office released a statement in response to the comments made by the director of commerce for National Iranian Tanker Company and Ali Rabiei, the spokesman for the government of Iran.

While the National Iranian Tanker Company and Ali Rabiei have both claimed that all the crewmembers died moments after the collision from breathing poisonous gases, the law office once again reiterated: “We believe that 100 percent of the crew did not pass away moments after the collision.”

Herischi law firm pointed out the “inconsistencies between the English and Persian versions of the report and said: “In the 78-page Persian report it is mentioned that the poisonous gas from liquid gas surrounded the ship. This sentence does not exist in the English version of the official report. It seems that the reason for adding this line in the Persian report is to justify the baseless claim of death due to breathing poisonous gases.”

The law firm also accused the National Iranian Tanker Company of “breaking the law” by declaring the death of the crew and forcing their families to accept the death certificate.

The statement also says that the amount paid to the families is much less than the normal death fine mentioned in the group contract of the crew.

“Unfortunately, China does not allow any interviews with the crew of Crystal or the team that entered the tanker to find the black box and Iran does not insist on it anyway,” the statement continues.

Iran claims that all the crew members of Sanchi oil tanker were killed in an hour after the accident, but the family of the crew does not believe that the report is true, and they believe the crew members were taken hostage.
