Qatargas Ships 1st Q-Flex LNG Cargo to Bangladesh Summit LNG FSRU
Doha-based liquefied natural gas company Qatargas has delivered the first Q-Flex cargo of LNG to the Summit LNG (SLNG), Bangladesh’s second floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU).

Damen Poised to Develop Shipbuilding in Bangladesh
Dutch shipbuilder Damen Shipyards Group and Australian-based Gentium Solutions have signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Industry of Bangladesh, seeking to establish and develop shipbuilding and ship repair industry in Bangladesh.

Khulna Shipyard lays keel for five more Padma-class patrol vessels for Bangladeshi Navy
Bangladeshi Navy said that a keel-laying ceremony for the 50.4 m-long vessels, had been held the previous day at the company's facilities in Khulna. The ceremony was attended by Admiral Aurangzeb Chowdhury, the BN's chief of naval staff, among others.
