BTC over 100 million barrels

Over 100 million barrels of crude oil has been shipped via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline.

BTC OIL PIPELINE KEEPS MAKING MONEY

Over 100 million barrels of crude oil has been shipped via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline since its inauguration on July 13th, 2006, and loaded onto 130 tankers at the southern Ceyhan terminal, sources said on Thursday.

The pipeline generated more than 62 million USD revenue for Turkey whereas the Turkish Petroleum Corp. has obtained a revenue of 392 million USD from the BTC project.

The pipeline has reached a capacity to load 750 thousand barrels per day, sources added.
