Two Frenchmen, whose sailing boat almost sank at Gibraltor Bay, south of Spain were rescued by a Turkish cargo vessel crew.
According to the information given by authorities in Ceuta, which is depended to Spain despite its location in Morocco, the sailing boat was highly damaged after it hit to a whale due to insufficient sight and evaded a sinking.
A Turkish cargo vessel, which was cruising at the same district, answered French couple"s call for help and rescued the Frenchmen.
After bringing the French couple, who was rescued at a short notice before sinking, to Consular Agent of France Aurelio Luque at Ceuta Port, the Turkish cargo vessel went on its route to Turkey.
