FSRU needed for a new LNG terminal in Croatia
Croatian state owned company LNG Hrvatska is looking for counterparts for the development of a new LNG import terminal on the island of Krk.

The Zagreb based firm has just launched an invitation to interested parties to submit a request to participate in the procurement of works for the LNG terminal based on a  floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) consisting of the design and construction of jetty, connecting gas pipeline and high pressure installations. The deadline for the submission of the requests to participate is October 6.

Furthermore LNG Hrvatska also announced an invitation to submit request to participate in the procurement of goods and services consisting of delivery of the FSRU with the provision of plant operation and maintenance services as a part of the LNG import terminal.

The government in Croatia is in the final phase of selecting a strategic investor for the LNG terminal with construction works scheduled to begin in 2019. The total value of the project is €363m ($434m).
