Fuel discharging is over for Ro-Ro vessel named Hayat-N which sunk off the coast of Bandirma, Balikesir.
Band?rma Port manager Kubilay Yazan noted that divers under the Sonar Search and Rescue company discharged the fuel of Ro-Ro vessel named Hayat-N which sunk off the coast of Bandirma last month. Emphasizing the fuel dicharging around 50 ton until now Yazan, "The fuel discharging which lasted 20 days, is over" told to reporters. It was reported that the process of removing the wreckage will start next week.

8,547 GRT, 118 metres length Ro-Ro vessel named HAYAT-N registered to the Marmara N navigation company sunk with 160 people on the night of 14 September at 11.00 p.m. 102 people were rescued. One of them named Ozen Erdogan had died in the hospital.
The body of Necati Kalin found at coast and Murat Karaca's body was taken off the vessel. Bodies of Sevki Gonul who was truck driver and an auxiliary named Yahya Ozoglu couldn't be founded.
