GAC Shipping in London and Singapore gets new marketing managers.
Julian Kordek has moved from London to Singapore in his new global role as Marketing Manager, Hub services where one of his key responsibilities will be the promotion of GAC's global hub agency services for efficient port call management to the Principals and ship-owners. Bringing nearly a decade of industry experience in the industry to the position, Kordek's relocation to Singapore is part of GAC's efforts to integrate its key regional functions and optimise synergies by bringing its hub, bunker and marketing operations under one roof.
Replacing Kordek in London is Sami Younis where he will be responsible for the marketing and continued growth of GAC's shipping business in United Kingdom, Éire, Benelux and Switzerland. Prior to this appointment, Younis has held positions with GAC in marketing and bunker trading where he has built a strong record in business development. He reports to Neil Godfrey, Group Sales Director, shipping services for GAC.
