Oil transporter Hornbeck Offshore Services Inc. said Monday it received $237.3 million worth of proceeds from a sale of senior notes.
The Covington, La.-based company said in a statement that it plans to use $200 million of the proceeds to repay company debt. The rest of the cash will be used for general purposes. The senior notes were priced at 97.123 percent of the principal amount and are to yield 8.5 percent. They are due in 2017.
Hornbeck operates a fleet of 80 vessels mostly in the Gulf of Mexico and Latin America.
