100 000th passenger got off at Izmir Port
?zmir where ever year increases its lot from the cruiser tourism, reached 10 000 passenger in 2007. 100 000th passengers who comes to ?zmir this year is Italian tourist Paulo Romito.
?zmir Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Ak?n Kazanço?lu made a present of ?zmir hat and t shirt to Paulo Romito and his wife, Pasquo Gassi Romito who are just married and came turkey for holiday. Romito said “he has never been to be ?zmir before that time” and he added “we watched ?zmir from the cost and we found it so modern and westerner, we are so happy to be here.”
Saying that ?zmir’s lot in the cruiser tourism increasing amazingly and every day, every time ships which add ?zmir to their rotes accruing, Kazanço?lu continued: “ With great deals of our company ?zmir’s Cruiser Tourism developing every day. Most of the tourists come ?zmir, stay in here. With last 2 ships, the number of the ships come ?zmir reached 42 and we reached 103 000 passenger. At the end of the year number of the ship will be 103 and we have been expecting approximately 400 000 passenger in total.”
