Istanbul Strait, the world's narrowest strait used for international navigation can now be watched live any time of the day at our website www.denizhaber.tv

Istanbul Strait, the world's narrowest strait used for international navigation and which connects the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara (which is connected by the Dardanelles to the Aegean Sea, and thereby to the Mediterranean Sea) can now be watched live any time of the day at our website www.denizhaber.tv

Shipping, containers, ports and incidents can now be watched live by 9 cameras of Turkish Maritime Magazine.

Recep Canpolat is monitoring the vessels passing through Istanbul Strait 24 hours and broadcasts live free to air on the internet.

Recep Canpolat provides the opportunity for a 24-hour-live broadcast of the vessels sailing on Istanbul Strait with the cameras installed by the Bosporus. He emphasizes that thanks to this broadcast, dangerous tanker transits can now be viewed by tanker owners all around the world, adding that he also supports the call of Abdullah Gül, President of the Republic of Turkey, to put tankers away from the Bosporus.

The website www.denizhaber.tv has activated the system, which provides a live broadcast of the Bosporus, where approximately 55,000 vessels transit annually. The live broadcast can be received any time of the day. The broadcats is made by 9 cameras from Dolmabahçe Palace, Haydarpa?a and Karaköy Ports, Sea of Marmara, Maiden"s Tower, Harem and Marmaray.

Great interest at live broadcast

Mr Canpolat, who direct the cameras 360 degrees and zooms in, said that following a test period of 2 months, the site has been activated this week. The live broadcast is sent from Ah?rkap? until Bosporus Bridge, in an area of 5,5 miles. After the other cameras are activated, we will be able to send broadcast of 17 miles.
