MOL starting container services to from Israel and Turkey
With fast and reliable transit time, ample port coverage and high level of customer care from one of the world's premier shipping lines, MOL is pleased to announce the launch of its new activities of container services to and from Israel as from 1st February 2008.
The launch is in response to increasing demand from customers in the region for a reliable, serious and committed carrier serving the Far East-Israel trade as well as other parts of the world. The Israel market will be served at this stage by the East Mediterranean and Black Sea Express Service (EBX) basis transshipment at Damietta.
This EBX service provides a fast transit time, improved reliability and added value to customers. The service also represents a significant capacity increase for the growing Mediterranean region. MOL has chosen port calls strategically to maximize coverage while maintaining schedule integrity.
This weekly service will call the ports of Shanghai, Hong Kong, Yantian, Singapore, Damietta (Transship Ashdod / Haifa) and ports in Turkey and the Black Sea on fixed sailing dates. Other ports in the Far East will be served via Singapore.
