The company plans to build the LNG terminal in Kushiro city, the newspaper said. Construction on the facility may begin as soon as next fiscal year and cost about 10 billion yen ($105 million), the report said.
The facility may be operated in cooperation with Tokyo Gas Co., the paper said.
