The Police Station 9 has identified the victim as Dante Villasin, 24, an employee of the Zamboanga City-Based Lourdes Fishing Corporation.

The police reported that Villasin was found around 9:30 a.m. Friday along the shoreline of Varadeo de Cawit, Zone 1, Cawit village.

The police said the victim was last seen Thursday evening under the influence of liquor.

The victim, who has cut wound on his left eye, was possibly mauled and thrown at sea, the police said.
