The project involves expansion of the general cargo terminal, building an additional 1,266 metres of multi-purpose berths, a new northern breakwater, facilities for dry-bulk commodities and a new liquids jetty. Thus, the capacity of the terminal will be increased to 40 million tons of dry-bulk commodities and five million tons of liquid products each year. The project value is estimated at USD 143,000,000 $ and the completion date is set at Dec 18, 2013.
