Irish-based explorer San Leon Energy is still looking for potential farm in partners for acreage offshore Ireland.

After completing a 280 square kilometre seismic survey over the North Porcupine Frontier Exploration Licence 1/04, San Leon has opened a data room during the last three months, seeking to attract exploration partners on the acreage it holds there.

San Leon has also opened up another data room in a bid to source a partner for exploration for its Slyne basin licence area also offshore Ireland.

Several companies have show interest in the data available, San Leon chairman Oisin Fanning has stated today as the company published its results for the end of 2011.

Currently the company also has a 4.5% net profit interest in Ireland's  Barryroe oil discovery in the Celtic Sea, and it is advancing its interest in shale gas onshore Poland. In Morocco the company is looking to drill one or two wells with partners.
