At the 7th Annual Golden Anchor Awar Ceremony, hosting co operatively with Deniz Haber Agency, Vice President of the Executive Board of Dünya Newspaper Erdem Top, said in his speech that Golden Anchor Award Ceremony holds a significant place introducing Turkish Maritime at the global arena.

Mr. Top began his speech with words “Hoş geldiniz (Welcome)” to the guests, he said that maritime sector continues it’s growth with new establishments and with the help of Golden Anchor, he said for this brand to continue its growth this organization should supported more.

He said “View from here shows the significance of the Golden Anchor’s success. The people who regulate international shipping met here with the Leaders of Turkish shipping. The best quality of seafarers is that they can adapt to changes. With our New Ministry and new regulations our shipping and maritime sector started to change. Within the Ministry we hope that Maritime sector will have a say in the field. What we try to do with Golden Anchor Award Ceremonies is that we try to bring forth the successful seafarers that are hidden behind the shadows.

Mr. Top said, “The Firms which about to take their awards we did not choose them behind closed doors. We chose them with the seafarers, we chose them with elites. We will all see that the awards which will be given for the 7^th time will go to the most successful seafarers. For years with the support of maritime organizations many award ceremonies like this one had been organized. But The Golden Anchor Performance Awards are nothing like them.
