On August 3, CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. won the land forming and foundation treatment part of the yard works of Phase 3 of the ore transfer terminal in Majishan, Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, with a contract value of 520 million yuan and a construction period of 20 months.

Located in the back land area of Phase 3 terminal in Majishan, Shengshi County, Zhoushan, with a yard measuring 682,000 square meters and a dyke measuring 1,800 meters, the project involves works including sand fill, backfill, preloading, geotextile laying, cement mixing pile, vibro-replacement stone column and cushion.

Majishan Port is a large ore transfer base closest to the Yangtze River estuary. The project will further enhance the full-course logistics chain of the port, build the port into an advanced and high-efficiency large deepwater transfer port and make the port one of Asia’s major ore transfer hubs.
