Gazipa?a Yacht Port whose construction was completed recently, was offered to be rent.

Two companies which associated together, joined to the tender done at Railways, Ports and Airports Construction General Directorate (DLH), which is under Ministry of Transportation. Aydo?an C.O. and Alanya Port and Shipping Management aspired to the port’s management.

Aydo?an C.O. Chairman of Board of Directorate said at the explanation to A.A. journalist:

“ There was three companies which made application for the management of the port, but the other two companies were eliminated because of missing documents, for that reason we are the only company gave offer.”

Gazipa?a governor ?smail Gültekin said that only one company had aspired for the management of the Gazipa?a Port Project. First time we got a serious offer. Gazipa?a Port will be important step to grow the Gazipa?a Borough. As the governor, I will support all the investments to our borough.”

Gazipa?a Municipality President Cemburak Özgenç commented that the port, which had been waiting as construction for 15 years, hopefully would be completed. Ministry of Transportation had made a tender recently; we hoped it would be accepted. He continued:

“This project is very important for our borough. Yacht port will have the capacity of 250 yachts. Apart from this there will be ferry dock, in the project there will be social centers of swimming pool, cinemas, café and restaurants, sport facility centers and amphitheatre, all this will bring speed to development of Gazipa?a.”

Özgenç said: “ Ferry dock will let the trading of the fruits and vegetables between Gazipa?a and Cyprus.
