Palmali bought two more tankers for $160 million
Group of companies Palmali bought two more multi-tonnage tankers "Azerbaijan" and "Baku". The Palmali press service reports that the tankers were made in Japan.
The cost is $160 million. Deadweight of each tanker is 105,000 tons, length 237.74 m, width 43 m. The vessels will carry Azeri oil, exported via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, from the Mediterranean Sea to different destinations.
?Tankers from Valetta port will sail under Maltian flag. Earlier the tankers bore names "Harmony" and "Champion", it was informed.
