With the project, which works with the ports, which have geopolitical consequence with their ranges, will be “Transfer Center” in Aegean and Mediterranean Sea to make the trade in these zones more efficient.

With the project, which works with the association of Ministry of Transportation and Undersecretary of Foreign Trade, the ports, which have geopolitical consequence with their ranges, will be “Transfer Center” in Aegean and Mediterranean Sea to make the trade in these zones more efficient.

At the article sent to Antalya Exporter Union from Undersecretary of Foreign Trade, efficient using of the coasts by considering the environmental equilibrium and investments, which will be for long term, will increase the efficient of the ports and increase the gains from the exports.

Because of having geopolitical advantages, Turkish Ports will be important step at international trade lines, and when the labors on ports will be completed, Turkey will be very powerful at this sector. In the article it was written:

“On the other hand, port establishments will be more efficient, when the railways and roads will be linked and completed, transportation systems will be integrated, with the container transportation lines, port establishments will be more active.

In this sense, the needs of our ports about technology, infra-structure should be determined, about this there will be a labor which includes preparing strategy plan for future with analyzing the difference between our country and the other countries, in Ministry of Transportation with the subject “Foreign Trade Politics and Ports”

In the article, it was wanted to send the desires of the exporter companies and the problems of the ports in continuous life until 20 August 2007 to Undersecretary of Foreign Trade.
