The wreckage of Turkish flagged Ro-Ro vessel named HAYAT-N which sunk while navigating from Band?rma to Ambarl? is waiting to be removed.
Maritime affairs general director Özkan Poyraz told that the wreckage will be removed as soon as possible since it affects sea traffic. 19 days passed after the sinking Ro-Ro vessel named HAYAT-N registered to the Marmara N navigation company.
The wreckage of vessel can be seen in the aerial photographs. While the region of wreckage was hedged by barries because of the fuel leak possibility, 10 ton fuel was unladed.
Reporting that there is still 18 ton diesel oil in the vessel Poyraz, " There is no leak at the moment. Since insurance proceeding continues, the way of unlading was not determined" said.
