The charters are at a fixed rate and for a term of four years, and include options for up to a further two years at increasing rates.

Seaspan took delivery of one of the vessels today and the other is scheduled to be delivered before the end of February.
The acquisition takes Seaspan’s operating and managed fleet to 112 vessels including those currently under construction.
