International Container Terminal Services Inc. has released an online system allowing shippers to keep tabs on containers and ship schedules. The website of Baltic Container Terminal (BCT) now offers the service Container Tracking and Sailing Schedule ?for customers for easy viewing and tracking of their containers in Gdynia, Poland,? ICTSI said in a statement. Container Tracking allows users to check the real-time status of their containers at BCT in a few clicks. By keying-in the container number, the program would display the live information of the customer"s container, its mode of access, exit from the terminal and time of the operation.
Sailing Schedule, meanwhile, enables customers to look at the scheduled arrival of a ship at BCT, tracking vessels handled at the wharf. Customers need not subscribe to use the systems, ICTSI said. BCT is a subsidiary of ICTSI, a leading port management company involved in the operations and development of 19 maritime terminals and port projects in 13 countries.
