MSC was ranked first in the Best Ocean Carrier category for 2007 by the International Freight Forwarders Association in Montreal.

The Best Ocean Carrier: MSC

MSC was ranked first in the Best Ocean Carrier category for 2007 by the International Freight Forwarders Association in Montreal.

MSC was given this special award for its successful operations on trade lanes to Africa, the Middle East and the Mediterranean.

The same award was given to MSC by The Toronto Freight Forwarders Association including the European and Latin American trade lanes.

MSC has a goal of producing global solutions with comprehensive, rapid response for customer needs. As of July 2007 MSC had a fleet of 346 vessels and a total capacity of 1,135,000 TEU, allowing it to make long term plans but still respond quickly to changes in world trade.
