Tersan Shipyard, a leading new building & repair shipyard located in Yalova, Turkey announces that The Naming Ceremony of the Shrimp Freezer Trawler named Northern Osprey III have taken place in Tersan Shipyard, Yalova and with the participation of about 150 valuable guests gathered from all-around of the world. There was also a reception dinner held in Istanbul after the ceremony took place.

Northern Osprey III was built to Det Norske Veritas Classification Rules and Regulations for fishing vessels as per class notation DNV +1A1, Ice 1A*, TMON, E0, "Stern Trawler".
The ship is 79,50m long, 17 m wide. The accommodation and interior outfitting is designed for 38 persons excluding the hospital and in all terms built for the harsh working environment.
The main processing equipment in the enclosed stainless steel factory area consists of graders for shrimps, transport systems, packing system etc. The intention in the design of the process deck layout and the selection of equipment for transport and handling is to obtain a system with the largest amount of automation, assisting the employees working in the processing area.
