Commenting on the occasion, Mark Biggs, managing director of DDW-SEA, said, "The training centre is an integral part of our continuing commitment to the Batam shipping industry, and a strategic move to increase the ratio of direct employees against our existing subcontractors.

The Training Centre is perfectly aligned with our key policy of attracting and retaining the best people available."
