Turkish Port Request for Belarus
It has been asserted that building a Turkish Port in Gomel region, which is one the best location in Belarus, may transforms the country into a territory under water.

With the visit of the Turkish members of parliament, Andrey Savinıh, Ambassador of Belarus to Turkey, pointed out that building Turkish Port in the city, may transforms the country into a territory under water.

Savinıh responded to reporters' questions by saying: “We pay particular attention to develop the transportation infrastructure. Our Turkish partners dwell upon Nijnie Jarı Village to build a port. In case of a port construction, it is possible for Belarus to become a territory under water.

Savinıh also mentioned that, Port will mark down the cost of load transportation and will be integral part for economic development of Belarus.

Meanwhile Erkan Yıldırım, Chairman of Derin Shipping&Trading Co. commented that they are warm to the subject and intrested in building a port in Belarus.

We May Build a Port in case of Warranty of Belarus

“Our company is insterested in developing trasportation systems and operations as well. Gomel region has a great location. Therefore  it can be possible for the projects that may set sail to Black Sea through Ukrainian lands. We are ready to implement this project in case of a freight warranty will given to us by Belarus.” said Yıldırım.

Alexander Lukashenko, The President of Belarus remarks that they used to have a plan about setting sail through Latvia.
