The following video presents you with the 168.600-gt cruise ship Anthem of the Seas, one of the largest cruise ships in the world, being turned around after its float out at Meyer Werft’s Papenburg shipyard on February 21st, 2015.
After this giant beauty turned around, the shipyard workers mounted the North Star observation toweer on the top of the ship.
The ship spans 16 decks, encompasses 167,800 gross registered tons, is capable of carrying 4,180 guests at double occupancy and features 2,090 staterooms.
Anthem of the Seas was berthed alongside the yard’s pier for one night, before being turned in the yard’s harbour for the thruster and stabiliser tests.
With the ship berthed at the yard’s pier, the remaining interior works as well as tests and trials will be carried out on board until the ship’s conveyance down the river Ems to the North Sea, which is scheduled for mid of March.
